Senior Lecturer/Reader in Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility

The successful applicant will develop and deliver innovative and engaging teaching on strategy and corporate social responsibility (CSR) modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and undertake internationally excellent research in the area of Strategy. LECTURER / SENIOR LECTURER / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR* PSYCHOLOGY

Duties:

  • Management and coordination of coursework teaching teams and significant contribution to coursework delivery
  • Supervision of fourth-year and postgraduate research projects
  • Research both independently and through collaborations
  • Significant professional contribution to the psychology discipline
  • Participate in service to the University where appropriate and as requested by the Campus Dean.

Essential Criteria:

  • PhD in Psychology (or final stage completion of the degree for Lecturer level appointment)
  • A strong publication record relative to career stage
  • Evidence of quality teaching and supervision of students at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
  • The ability to teach across a range of psychology subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level
  • Experience of curriculum development, management, and quality assurance
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relations with colleagues in an academic environment and with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • A track record of success in obtaining external research funding;
  • While applications from candidates in all areas and sub-disciplines of psychology will be considered, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in either industrial/organisational psychology or social psychology.

Remuneration and conditions: The positions command an appropriate remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. All employment salary arrangements are offered in SGD. Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Medical Practitioner.

Inherent requirements of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge and managerial experience in managing Clinical Services within hospitals and health systems.Engaging with Corporate services including Human Resource, Financial Management, Patient Administration and Support and Logistic services. Knowledge of health delivery systems, policies and applicable legislation, and processes governing resource allocations. Applicable and proven managerial experience in a Healthcare environment, showing leadership, strategic and operational skills.

and planning within relevant general specialist and highly specialised clinical
departments.

 

Participate in strategies to strengthen the regional and district
health care system ensuring equity of access to tertiary care. Facilitate and
own improvement projects relating to technical quality, internal efficiency,
effectiveness and appropriateness of relevant FBUs, i.e. ensuring wellfunctioning and governed clinical center within available resources. Special
portfolios/projects, which may include data collection, analysis and reporting.

Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Family Medicine.

Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Specialist after registration with the HPCSA (or a recognised foreign health professional council in respect of a foreign qualified employee) as a Medical Specialist in Family Medicine.
